ADATA HD720 externý pevný disk 2 TB USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) čierny

The ADATA HD720 2TB external hard drive combines a sporty, compact design with high durability and large storage capacity. Built to resist water, dust and shocks, it uses USB 3.2 Gen 1 for fast transfers and is compatible with a wide range of devices. The black HD720 offers 2 TB of space for backups, photos, videos and other files while providing reinforced protection for use in demanding environments.

Advantages

The HD720 is IP68 water- and dust-resistant and can remain submerged in up to 2 metres of water for up to 120 minutes while in its storage state. It has passed a tougher 1.8 m drop test, exceeding standard military-grade requirements, and features a triple-layer construction with elastic silicone for enhanced shock absorption. A built-in G-Shock sensor detects severe impacts and indicates drive status with LED signals. The integrated wrap-around USB cable stores neatly in a groove on the casing.

Suitable for

• Portable backups of photos and videos during travel and outdoor activities
• Storage and transfer of large media files between computers
• Use in dusty or wet environments where extra protection is required

How to use

Connect the HDD to your computer or compatible device using the included wrap-around USB cable. The drive is plug-and-play on most systems supporting USB mass storage; follow your operating system prompts to format the drive if required. Store media files, create backups or transfer data as with any external USB drive. Avoid using the drive while submerged and ensure the USB port and cable are dry before connecting after exposure to water.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, keep firmware and backup software up to date, handle the drive by the casing rather than the cable, and allow the drive to dry completely before reconnecting after water exposure. Regularly back up critical data to a secondary location.
