How to use

Connect the supplied power cable to the vehicle power source using a 2 A fuse as specified. Secure the device in the clamp mount and adjust the tilt swivel to the desired viewing angle and orientation. When using quick-charge functionality, ensure the tablet or UMPC supports Qualcomm QC 2.0 for proper operation. Professional installation is recommended to achieve a discreet cable routing and secure mounting.

Recommendations

Tablets should not be mounted on a vehicle dashboard if they obstruct the driver’s view or block key controls. The ProClip system is primarily designed for smaller devices; placing large tablets on the dashboard requires case-by-case assessment by the user. Brodit recommends using headrest mounts for passenger tablet use and states that dashboard tablet installations are at the customer’s own responsibility.
