Audio kábel Hama 00205133 TOSLINK 0,75 m čierny konektor samec na konektor samec

The Hama 00205133 TOSLINK audio cable is a 0.75 m optical digital cable with male-to-male TOSLINK connectors at both ends. It is designed to transmit digital audio signals between compatible devices such as TVs, soundbars, AV receivers and optical-equipped DACs. The black outer sheath provides a discreet appearance for home entertainment systems and reduces visible clutter while maintaining a short, reliable link between components.

Advantages

This TOSLINK cable uses optical transmission to avoid electromagnetic interference and ground loop noise common with electrical connections, preserving audio signal clarity. The standardized male-to-male connectors ensure compatibility with most consumer audio devices that feature optical inputs and outputs. Its 0.75 m length is useful for compact setups where devices are placed close to each other, minimizing excess cable and ensuring stable connection.

How to use

Ensure both source and target devices have optical (TOSLINK) ports and are powered off or muted before connecting. Insert each male TOSLINK connector gently into the respective optical port until it clicks or seats firmly; do not force the plug. After connecting, power on the devices and select the optical input on the receiving device. Adjust audio settings on source and receiver as needed to enable digital optical output and set appropriate output format (PCM or Dolby/DTS passthrough depending on device capabilities).

Recommendations

Place the cable so it is not sharply bent near the connectors; maintain gentle curves to avoid damaging the internal optical fibre. Use the 0.75 m length for close device placement; if a longer run is needed, select a longer optical cable. Inspect connectors for dust before insertion and keep protective caps when not in use to maintain signal quality.
