The Braun BodyGroomer 5 BG5340 with SkinShield technology is a body groomer designed for safe and gentle full-body trimming, including sensitive areas. It combines two attachments — a sensitive SkinGuard comb and a sliding comb — to allow trimming from 0.5 mm up to 11 mm. The device is washable and waterproof for use in the shower and easy cleaning, and runs on a long-lasting built-in Li‑Ion battery for cordless operation.

Advantages

SkinShield technology protects the skin in sensitive areas from nicks and cuts while allowing precise and hygienic grooming. The attachable sensitive comb minimizes direct contact with the skin for increased comfort. The device offers a choice of hair lengths with click-on combs, is fully washable, and provides long battery life with fast recharge and a quick 5-minute charge for one trim. The lightweight construction and cordless operation increase maneuverability during grooming.

How to use

Attach the desired comb (sensitive SkinGuard comb for 0.5 mm or the sliding comb for 3–11 mm) and switch on the device. Glide the groomer over the skin in the direction that gives the preferred result, keeping the device gently against the body without pressing. For sensitive areas, use the sensitive comb to minimize skin contact and ensure a cautious, controlled motion. After use, rinse the detachable attachments and cutter under running water and allow to dry before reassembly and storage.

Recommendations

For best results, trim on clean, dry or wet skin depending on personal comfort; use the sensitive comb for intimate areas and the sliding comb for longer body hair. Keep the cutting head and combs clean and charge the device fully before extended use.
