How to use

To replace the existing cover plate, remove the sensor from the mounting frame or loosen the fastening screws according to the original installation instructions, then detach the old cover plate. Align the Busch-Jaeger 6800-0-2559 anthracite cover with the original mounting points and secure it using the original screws or clips. Reinstall the sensor and verify correct positioning and function after refitting. No electrical reconnection is required when only replacing the outer cover, provided the installation is carried out with the power switched off and according to safety guidelines.

Recommendations

For safe and lasting results, perform replacements with the power to the sensor circuit turned off and use original mounting hardware where possible. Clean the cover with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid aggressive solvents or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
