Canon ET-63 slnečná clona

The Canon ET-63 Lens Hood fits onto the front of compatible Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lenses to reduce flare and stray light reaching the front element. Constructed in a durable black finish, the hood helps improve contrast and image quality when shooting in bright or backlit conditions and also provides basic physical protection for the lens front.

Advantages

The ET-63 blocks unwanted side and direct light that can cause flare, improving contrast and color fidelity. Its bayonet mount allows quick attachment and removal, and the robust finish resists wear from regular outdoor use.

Suitable for

• Outdoor photography in strong sunlight
• Backlit portrait and landscape shots
• Situations where stray light may reduce contrast
• Protecting the front element from incidental contact

How to use

Align the hood's bayonet mount with the lens hood bayonet on the front of the EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens, then rotate until it clicks into place. For storage or when using some filters, remove the hood by pressing the release (if present) and rotating in the opposite direction. Ensure the hood is seated correctly before shooting to avoid vignetting at wide focal lengths.

Recommendations

Use the ET-63 hood for outdoor and backlit shooting to reduce flare and improve image contrast. Remove it when using lens caps, certain wide-angle adapters, or when it causes vignetting at extreme focal lengths.
