Chladič Silverstone Krypton KR01 procesorový chladič 8 cm

The SilverStone Krypton KR01 is a compact 80 mm CPU cooler that delivers focused cooling for space-constrained systems. At 54 mm total height including the fan, the KR01 uses two 6 mm copper heat pipes connected to a base designed for AMD processors and integrates an 80 mm dual ball-bearing PWM fan. The cooler is intended to offer up to 95 W of cooling power while fitting into small form-factor builds.

Advantages

The KR01 combines a low-profile design with copper heat pipes and a dual ball-bearing fan to provide durable, reliable cooling in tight spaces. Its PWM-controlled 80 mm fan covers a wide speed range (800–3000 RPM) for adaptive performance, while compact dimensions (107 × 82 × 54 mm) make it suitable for many mini-ITX and small-form-factor enclosures.

Suitable for

• Small form-factor PCs and HTPCs where height is limited
• AMD socket systems (FM1, FM2, AM2, AM3, AM4)
• Systems requiring a balance between cooling performance and compact size

How to use

Install the Krypton KR01 on a compatible AMD socket following the motherboard and cooler mounting instructions. Apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste to the CPU heat spreader, seat the cooler base onto the CPU, and secure the mounting hardware according to the included guide. Connect the 4-pin PWM fan cable to the CPU fan header to enable automatic speed control based on CPU temperature.

Recommendations

For best results in compact cases, ensure adequate case airflow and clearance above the cooler. Use the motherboard’s PWM control or BIOS fan profiles to keep noise and temperatures balanced; verify socket compatibility before installation.
