Dahua NET-kamera 4MP Bullet HFW2449TL-S-0280B-PROS1 — 4 MP, 1/1,8" CMOS, 50 m IR, WDR, IP67, PoC/DC

Dahua NET Camera 4MP Bullet HFW2449TL-S-0280B-PROS1 is an outdoor wired IP security camera designed for perimeter and property monitoring. It features a 4 MP 1/1.8" CMOS sensor and a fixed-focus 2x lens that delivers detailed Full HD-plus images. The camera supports day/night mode with 50 m infrared illumination and a low-light sensitivity down to 0.0001 lx, enabling reliable surveillance in varied lighting conditions. Built-in microphone and an integrated card reader expand recording and monitoring options, while PoC and DC power support simplifies installation for ceiling, wall or pole mounting. The IP67 rating provides protection against dust and water for outdoor use.

Advantages

The camera delivers high-resolution 4 MP imaging with wide dynamic range (WDR) and noise reduction for clearer details in scenes with strong contrast. Long-range IR up to 50 m and very low minimum illumination ensure continuous monitoring day and night. PoC and DC power options reduce cabling complexity and support flexible deployment. The integrated microphone and card reader enable local audio capture and edge recording without additional modules. Weatherproof IP67 construction and a compact bullet form factor make the device suitable for exposed outdoor locations.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and entrance monitoring for residential and commercial properties
• Parking lots, loading bays and outdoor storage areas
• Public spaces and building exterior surveillance
• Sites requiring edge recording and audio monitoring

How to use

Install the camera on a stable ceiling, wall or pole mount ensuring the lens has an unobstructed view of the monitored area. Connect the device to your network via Ethernet and supply power using PoC or the DC input according to site cabling. Configure basic camera parameters—resolution, WDR, day/night switching and white balance—through the Dahua management interface or compatible NVR software. Insert a supported memory card into the integrated card slot for edge recording if local storage is required, and enable the built-in microphone in the recording settings to capture audio alongside video.

Recommendations

Position the camera so IR illumination is not obstructed by nearby reflective surfaces to avoid backscatter at night. For best image quality, set white balance according to local lighting conditions and enable WDR where scenes include high-contrast areas. Use PoC where a single-cable installation reduces labor and ensures reliable power delivery; if using DC, verify voltage and polarity before connecting. Regularly inspect seals and mounting hardware in exposed locations to maintain IP67 protection.
