Explore Scientific UHC 1,25 palca filter

The Explore Scientific UHC 1.25 inch Filter is a premium ultra-high contrast nebula filter designed to enhance your astronomical observations. By selectively transmitting the specific wavelengths emitted by emission nebulae while blocking artificial light pollution and natural skyglow, this filter dramatically improves the visibility and detail of faint deep-sky objects. Ideal for both visual and astrophotography applications, it is a must-have accessory for any serious amateur astronomer.

Advantages

Experience breathtaking views of emission nebulae with enhanced contrast and detail. The UHC filter effectively reduces light pollution from streetlights and other sources, allowing you to observe fainter structures even from suburban skies. Its precision optical coating ensures high transmission of key nebula lines (H-beta, OIII, H-alpha) while blocking unwanted wavelengths. The filter is mounted in a durable, fully threaded cell for secure attachment to standard 1.25 inch eyepieces or diagonals.

Suitable for

• Visual observation of emission nebulae, planetary nebulae, and supernova remnants
• Astrophotography of deep-sky objects with DSLR or dedicated astronomy cameras
• Use with telescopes of any aperture, especially in light-polluted areas
• Compatible with all standard 1.25 inch eyepieces, barlow lenses, and diagonals
