Fixačná hnacia jednotka HP RM1-2963-040CN — náhradný diel k tlačiarni

The HP RM1-2963-040CN fuser drive unit is a replacement mechanical component intended to restore the rotational drive of the fuser assembly in compatible HP printers. It transfers motion to the fusing roller mechanism so the fuser can apply heat and pressure to fix toner onto paper. The unit is suitable for maintenance and repair tasks where the original drive is worn, noisy, or non‑functional, and it helps return the printer to normal fusing operation.

Advantages

This drive unit is engineered to match the movement profile and mechanical fit of the original HP fuser assembly, providing consistent rotation speed and reliable torque for effective fusing. As a direct-fit spare part, it reduces downtime by enabling straightforward replacement during servicing. Using a proper replacement drive helps minimise print defects caused by insufficient fusing and can extend the overall service life of the fuser module when installed correctly.

Suitable for

• Repairing printers with a failed or noisy fuser drive mechanism
• Preventive maintenance to replace a worn drive before it affects print quality
• Servicing office or production printers that require restoration of fusing function

Key specifications

• Type: mechanical drive unit for fuser assembly
• Function: transfers rotational motion to fusing roller to enable heat and pressure fixation of toner
• Compatibility: designed for use in designated HP printer fuser modules (direct-fit spare)
• Construction: precision molded housing and drive interface to ensure proper alignment and engagement with existing fuser components
• Operational role: supports consistent roller speed and torque required for reliable toner fixation

How to use

Install the drive unit by powering down the printer, opening the service access to the fuser assembly, and removing the defective drive according to the service manual or manufacturer instructions. Align the replacement drive with the fuser gear train and secure it in place using the original fasteners or clips. Reassemble the fuser module and perform a controlled test print to verify correct rotation and proper toner fixation. Follow manufacturer torque and alignment guidance where specified.

Recommendations

Handle the drive unit and fuser assembly with care to avoid contaminating the fusing roller surface. Use personal protective equipment if necessary, allow the fuser to cool before servicing, and refer to the printer service manual for step‑by‑step replacement procedures. After installation, run a few test pages and inspect print quality to confirm the fuser is operating correctly.
