The Ritzenhoff & Breker 807288 Round Glass baking dish is a 1.45 L ovenproof container designed for preparing, baking and serving a variety of hot and cold dishes. Its round shape and medium capacity make it suitable for family portions, gratins, casseroles and desserts.

Advantages

The glass body offers uniform heat transfer and visual control of the cooking process while resisting staining and odor retention. The included plastic lid seals the container for storage and protection, reducing exposure to air and allowing safe stacking in cupboards. The round form and smooth edges simplify serving and cleaning, and the medium 1.45 L capacity covers a wide range of everyday cooking tasks.

How to use

Preheat the oven according to your recipe and place the glass dish on a stable oven rack or tray. Use the dish for baking, roasting or reheating; remove the plastic lid before placing the dish in a hot oven to avoid heat damage to the lid. After cooking, allow the dish to cool slightly before covering for storage. The dish can be used to chill dishes in the refrigerator with the lid applied once cooled to room temperature.

Recommendations

Do not expose the glass to sudden temperature changes (for example, from freezer to hot oven) to avoid thermal shock. Remove the plastic lid before oven use and hand wash the lid; the glass body can be cleaned in a dishwasher if the manufacturer's care instructions are followed.
