Fujitsu HDD-Rahmen New Colorad - pevný disk - Serial Attached SCSI (SAS)

When server uptime is non-negotiable, the Fujitsu New Colorad SAS hard drive carrier stands apart from generic caddies by delivering a factory-matched fit for PRIMERGY storage bays. This carrier secures a 3.5-inch Serial Attached SCSI drive and aligns it precisely with the backplane, eliminating the wobble and connector strain that plague aftermarket brackets. Built from a metal and plastic composite, it balances rigidity with light weight, while integrated LED indicators keep drive activity and status visible at a glance. Whether you are replacing a failed caddy or standardizing a fleet, this component restores the hot-swap reliability your infrastructure expects.

Highlights

• Native SAS interface for 3.5-inch hard drives
• Hot-swap ready for uninterrupted maintenance
• LED indicators for activity and fault status
• Metal and plastic construction for durability
• Tool-less or minimal-tool installation

In daily use

The carrier slides into any compatible Fujitsu PRIMERGY drive bay and locks firmly, ensuring the SAS connector seats fully without forcing. Because it supports hot-swap, you can pull a failed drive and insert a replacement while the system runs—no downtime for a simple disk change. The LED light pipe carries drive activity signals from the backplane to the front bezel, so you can identify a rebuilding or failing drive without opening the chassis. Included mounting screws provide a secure fit for the drive itself, and the black and silver finish blends with standard server aesthetics.
