Hadicová spojka GARDENA 7144 mosadzné pripojenie vodnej hadice pre záhradné hadice

GARDENA 7144 is a brass hose coupling designed to create a reliable threaded connection between garden hoses, hose sections and compatible accessories. Made from brass for corrosion resistance and long service life, this two-piece threaded coupling includes a socket and sleeve nut and uses a flat washer seal. It is intended for connections to garden taps and for general watering, irrigation setups and hose repairs where a robust metal fitting is preferable. The coupling is not suitable for use with pumps.

Advantages

The brass construction provides durability and improved resistance to corrosion compared with many plastic fittings, ensuring stable performance in outdoor conditions. The two-piece design with a socket and sleeve nut enables a secure threaded joint and a flat washer seal helps reduce leakage when correctly fitted. The 26.5 mm (G 3/4") thread and compatibility with 19 mm (3/4") hoses make it suitable for common garden hose systems and many standard tap connections. The metal fitting withstands mechanical stress better than typical plastic couplings, making it suitable for frequent assembly and disassembly.

Suitable for

• Connecting garden hoses to external taps with G 3/4" (26.5 mm) thread
• Repairing or joining sections of 19 mm (3/4") garden hose
• Garden watering and irrigation setups requiring a durable metal coupling
• Applications where a flat washer seal and threaded connection are preferred

Key specifications

• Material: brass
• Thread: 26.5 mm (G 3/4")
• Compatible hose inner diameter: 19 mm (3/4")
• Design: two-piece coupling (socket and sleeve nut) with flat washer seal
• Intended applications: garden taps, hose connections, irrigation and repair

How to use

Ensure both the hose end and the tap or accessory thread are clean and free of debris. Slide the sleeve nut over the hose end, insert the hose or mating threaded part into the socket, and tighten the sleeve nut to engage the threaded connection. Check the flat washer seal for correct seating to minimize leaks. Hand-tighten initially and, if necessary, use moderate additional torque by hand or with a suitable tool, taking care not to overtighten and damage the seal or threads. Do not use the coupling with pumps.

Recommendations

For long-term leak-free performance, inspect the flat washer periodically and replace it if hardened or damaged. Use the coupling with hoses of the specified diameter and avoid excessive mechanical stress or bending at the connection point. If frequent connection/disconnection is required, verify threads and sealing surfaces for wear and clean before each assembly.
