Hadicová spojka Gardena 7146 mosadzná armatúra pre záhradnú vodnú hadicu

Gardena 7146 brass hose coupling is a metal fitting designed to connect garden water hoses and compatible quick-connect accessories. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant brass, this hose coupling creates a secure mechanical join between hose ends or between a hose and a threaded accessory. It is intended for uses where a durable metal coupling is preferred over plastic couplings, such as repair, extension, or permanent hose installations.

Advantages

The brass construction offers increased resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear compared with many polymer fittings, ensuring a longer service life in outdoor environments. The coupling provides a tight, low-leak connection suitable for standard garden water pressures and frequent handling. Its straightforward design allows quick assembly and disassembly without specialized tools, and compatibility with widely used quick-connect garden systems ensures flexible use across existing equipment.

Suitable for

• Repairing damaged hose ends
• Extending garden hoses by connecting two hose lengths
• Connecting hoses to metal or threaded accessories
• Situations requiring a durable metal coupling for outdoor use

Key specifications

• Material: brass (corrosion-resistant metal)
• Function: hose-to-hose or hose-to-accessory mechanical coupling
• Connection type: quick-connect compatible with common garden fittings
• Application environment: outdoor/garden watering

How to use

Cut hose ends square and remove any frayed material before assembly. Push the prepared hose end onto the coupling as far as it will go to ensure a firm mechanical seat; depending on the hose type, secure with a hose clamp if necessary to prevent slippage under pressure. Attach the mating quick-connect accessory or second hose and verify the connection is tight. Test the joint at normal water pressure and inspect for leaks, tightening clamps or re-seating the hose if required.

Recommendations

Use the coupling with hoses of matching internal diameter and wall thickness to ensure a secure fit. For long-term installations or high-stress points, add a corrosion-resistant hose clamp. Avoid exposure to aggressive chemicals or extremely high temperatures that could accelerate wear. Periodically inspect metal fittings for signs of wear or leak development and replace if performance degrades.
