Stolová vŕtačka Holzmann SB162VN — kapacita 16 mm, motor 500W, stĺpová vŕtačka

The Holzmann SB162VN is a pillar drilling machine with a 16 mm drilling capacity and a 500W motor, designed for precise vertical drilling in wood, plastics and light metals. The compact footprint and adjustable table make it suitable for small workshops, hobby use and light industrial applications where accurate, repeatable holes are required. Spindle speed control and a stable cast-iron column provide consistent performance when working on a range of materials.

Advantages

The machine combines a moderate 500W power with a 16 mm capacity to provide effective drilling for common workshop tasks while keeping energy consumption low. An adjustable table and a stable column allow accurate positioning and reduced vibration, improving hole quality. Stepless or stepped speed control (as provided on the unit) lets the operator match spindle speed to material and drill diameter for cleaner holes and longer tool life. The overall construction is compact and engineered for straightforward installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Drilling precise holes in wood for joinery and furniture making
• Working with plastics and acrylic sheets that require controlled speeds
• Light metal drilling for brackets, housings and small parts
• Small workshop and hobbyist projects requiring repeatable hole placement
• Prototype and repair work where a benchtop pillar drill is appropriate

Key specifications

• Maximum drilling capacity: 16 mm
• Motor power: 500 W
• Adjustable worktable with height and tilt adjustment
• Spindle speed control for matching material and drill size
• Stable cast-iron column and base to reduce vibration
• Quill travel suitable for common drilling depths in woodworking and light metalwork

How to use

Secure the machine to a stable bench or stand and fit the appropriate drill bit for the material and hole diameter. Adjust the worktable height and clamp the workpiece firmly to prevent movement. Set the spindle speed according to the drill diameter and material—lower speeds for larger diameters and metals, higher speeds for small bits in wood and plastics. Bring the spindle down smoothly using the feed lever, applying steady pressure without forcing the bit. After drilling, retract the spindle and switch off the motor. Regularly check and maintain chuck tightness, belts (if applicable) and lubrication points to ensure consistent performance.

Recommendations

Use cutting fluid or coolant when drilling light metals to reduce heat and extend bit life. For accurate repeat drilling, mark positions and use clamps or a drill vise. Replace worn bits and keep the table and column clean to maintain alignment and reduce vibration.
