HONEYWELL 1962G Battery Free USB Kit čierna všeobecné použitie puzdro SR Focus Type-A 2.7M

Warehouse and retail scanning often grinds to a halt when batteries die mid-shift, forcing workers to swap packs or wait for recharge. The Honeywell 1962GSR-2USB-WCBF eliminates that downtime entirely. This battery-free wireless scanner uses a supercapacitor that recharges in under 60 seconds on its communication base, delivering up to 450 scans per charge. With a 2D area imager, it reads virtually any barcode—1D, 2D, postal, even OCR—from screens or paper, while Bluetooth connectivity keeps operators mobile up to 10 metres from the base. The kit includes the scanner, communication/charging base, and a 2.7-metre USB Type A cable for host connection. Built for general-purpose use, it withstands 1.8 m drops to concrete and carries an IP42 rating against dust and moisture, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.

Who is it for

This scanner is ideal for retail point-of-sale, light warehouse picking, inventory management, and healthcare applications where continuous scanning uptime and freedom of movement are critical. It suits businesses that want to eliminate battery maintenance costs and reduce environmental waste.

Tips

Place the communication base within clear line of sight of the scanning area to maximise Bluetooth range. Although the scanner is battery-free, it requires the base for charging—plan workstation layouts so the base is accessible for quick 60-second top-ups during natural pauses. For screen-based barcodes, disable illumination if needed to reduce glare. The IP42 rating protects against light dust and dripping water, but avoid direct spray or submersion.
