SPS pásková jednotka: LTO-7 Ultrium (interná)

Data centers and enterprise backup administrators rely on the HPE LTO-7 Ultrium Internal Tape Drive to safeguard critical information with high capacity and fast throughput. This half-height internal drive fits into standard 5.25-inch bays and connects via 6 Gb/s SAS, delivering reliable long-term storage for archiving and disaster recovery.

Key specifications

• Tape technology: LTO Ultrium 7
• Native capacity: 6 TB (15 TB compressed with 2.5:1 ratio)
• Native transfer rate: 300 MB/s (750 MB/s compressed)
• Interface: 6 Gb/s SAS
• Form factor: 5.25-inch half-height internal
• Hardware AES 256-bit encryption and WORM support
• Backward read compatibility: LTO-6, LTO-5; write compatibility: LTO-6

Why choose it

The LTO-7 standard doubles the capacity of LTO-6 while maintaining backward compatibility, protecting your investment in existing tape media. Hardware encryption and WORM functionality ensure data security and compliance for regulated industries. With a mean time between failures of 250,000 hours, this drive is built for continuous operation.

Ideal use cases

• Enterprise backup and archival of large datasets
• Disaster recovery and off-site data protection
• Compliance storage requiring WORM (write-once, read-many) media
• Replacing older LTO-5 or LTO-6 drives in existing tape libraries or servers

Good to know

The drive supports LTO Ultrium 7, 6, and 5 media, allowing you to read tapes from two generations back and write to LTO-6 tapes. It operates in temperatures from 10°C to 35°C and consumes only 20-30 W, making it energy efficient for always-on backup environments.
