Switch HP Enterprise Aruba 2540 24G PoE 4SFP — 24× Gigabit PoE portov, 4× SFP uplink

The HP Enterprise Aruba 2540 24G PoE 4SFP is an access switch that provides 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability and four SFP uplink slots. Engineered for small to medium-sized networks, this switch supports powered endpoints such as IP phones, wireless access points and surveillance cameras while offering fiber uplink options through SFP modules. The device is intended for edge deployments where centralized connectivity and simplified power delivery reduce cabling and separate power supplies.

Advantages

The Aruba 2540 delivers a combination of 24 Gigabit PoE ports and four SFP uplinks in a compact form factor, enabling simultaneous data and power delivery to connected devices. Integrated PoE reduces the need for external power adapters for endpoints, and the SFP slots allow flexible fiber connections to distribution or core switches. As an access-class switch, it supports common network features suitable for VoIP and Wi‑Fi aggregation while keeping configuration and management straightforward.

Suitable for

• Edge switching in small and medium business networks
• VoIP deployments supplying power to IP phones
• Wi‑Fi aggregation where access points require PoE
• Surveillance systems using PoE cameras
• Fiber uplinks to distribution or core network equipment via SFP
