Inštalačný kábel DIGITUS DK-1843-VH-05 S/FTP Cat.8.2 50m zelený

The DIGITUS Installation Cable DK-1843-VH-05 is an S/FTP category 8.2 cable designed for high-speed network connections. It comes in a 50 m length with AWG 22/1 solid conductors and an LSOH (low smoke, zero halogen) jacket. The cable's foil shielding and construction provide reliable signal integrity for indoor installations where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required.

Advantages

The cable supports category 8.2 performance with S/FTP shielding to minimise crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. Solid AWG 22/1 conductors offer stable mechanical and electrical properties for structured cabling runs. The LSOH sheath reduces toxic and corrosive gases in case of fire, and the 50 m reel length is suitable for medium to large installation runs. The green jacket colour allows easy identification in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• High-speed data centres and server rooms requiring Cat.8.2 cabling
• Structured indoor network installations up to 50 m
• Environments where low smoke and halogen-free materials are mandated

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the 50 m reel, strip the outer jacket and foil shielding according to the connector manufacturer's instructions, and terminate with compatible Cat.8.2 S/FTP connectors or keystone jacks. Maintain correct pair untwisting limits and follow standard cabling practices to preserve performance. Use appropriate cable management and secure routing to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress.

Recommendations

Use this DIGITUS S/FTP Cat.8.2 cable for indoor fixed installations where high bandwidth and low-emission materials are required. For optimal performance, pair with Cat.8.2 compliant connectors and test the installation with appropriate network certification tools.
