Invalidný vozík medpunkt ETAC Clean 55 cm s 2 brzdami a toaletnou funkciou

The medpunkt ETAC Clean wheelchair with a 55 cm seat width is a mobility and toileting chair designed for everyday use in home and care environments. It combines transport capability with an integrated toilet function and two hand-operated brakes. The frame and seat materials are selected for stability and easy cleaning to support hygiene-focused routines and safe transfers.

Advantages

The ETAC Clean 55 cm provides a wide seating surface for greater comfort and postural support. Two hand-operated brakes offer stable parking and controlled braking during transfers or while stationary. The integrated toilet function removes the need for a separate commode in many situations, simplifying continence care. Surfaces and construction are designed to resist soiling and to be cleaned with standard disinfectants, helping maintain hygiene standards.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This wheelchair is intended primarily for indoor use and short-distance transport; it may not be appropriate as a primary outdoor mobility solution over uneven terrain or long distances. Users with very specific postural or pressure care needs should evaluate seat cushioning and adjunctive supports separately, as the product focuses on combined transport and toileting function rather than advanced pressure redistribution.

Key specifications

How to use

Position the wheelchair on a level surface and engage the brakes before assisting the user to sit. Use the hand-operated brakes to lock the wheels during transfers or when the user will remain stationary. For toileting, ensure the chair is correctly positioned over the toilet opening or commode container as applicable, follow local care procedures for transferring and seat removal if required, and clean surfaces after use according to disinfection guidelines. Adjust handling and transfer technique to the user’s mobility level and any additional assistance devices in use.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Regularly inspect brakes, seat surfaces, and fastenings for wear; clean with appropriate disinfectants following manufacturer or facility protocols; and use the hand-operated brakes whenever the chair is stationary to ensure safe transfers and hygienic toileting routines.
