IR predlžovač Marmitek Invisible Control 2 (model 25008171) — dosah 250 m

Marmitek Invisible Control 2 is an infrared (IR) extension system designed to forward remote control signals over long distances, allowing control of AV equipment placed out of sight or in another room. The system supports a range of up to 250 m, enabling flexible placement of TVs, receivers, set-top boxes and other IR-controlled devices while maintaining full remote functionality. It is intended for installations where direct line of sight between the remote and the device is not possible or desirable.

Advantages

The system extends infrared remote signals reliably across a large coverage area, reducing the need to reposition devices or use visible infrared repeaters. It preserves original remote control functionality without requiring changes to device settings. Installation options accommodate concealed cabinets, wall-mounted displays and multiroom setups. The design emphasizes compatibility with standard IR remote protocols and minimal visible hardware in living spaces.

How to use

Place the transmitter unit within range of your original remote control and position the receiver unit near the device you want to control. Ensure both units have appropriate power connections according to the manufacturer instructions and that the line of communication between them is unobstructed within the rated range. Aim the remote at the transmitter’s IR window to send commands; the receiver will reproduce those commands to the target device. Verify compatibility by testing basic functions such as power, volume and input selection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, install transmitter and receiver units in locations with minimal strong electromagnetic interference and avoid placing the units directly adjacent to large metal objects. If extending signals through multiple rooms or floors, check range in the intended setup and, if necessary, reposition units to maintain consistent signal transmission.
