How to use

Connect the ATH-GDL3 to your device using the appropriate detachable cable: use the 3.0 m cable with separate 3.5 mm mic and headphone plugs for PCs with distinct inputs, or the 1.2 m 3.5 mm TRRS cable for consoles and devices with a combined headset jack. Attach the boom microphone to the left-side connector and adjust its position for clear voice pickup. Use the volume dial on the left earcup to set the listening level and press the mute switch when you need to silence the microphone. Replace or clean the detachable earpads and headband following manufacturer guidance to maintain comfort and hygiene.

Recommendations

For optimal audio performance in gaming, position the headset so the earcups sit comfortably over the ears and allow for some ambient airflow characteristic of open-back designs. Use the 3.0 m cable on desktop setups for flexible movement and the 1.2 m TRRS cable for console or portable use. Keep volume at safe listening levels and store the detachable microphone and cables in a dry place when not in use.
