Position the replacement French keyboard in the frame, reconnect the ribbon cable firmly, and secure the keyboard with its screws. Reassemble the laptop and power it on to verify that keys register correctly; if necessary, enable the French input layout in the operating system keyboard settings.

Recommendations for use

Handle the keyboard and ribbon connector with static-safe precautions. When installing, avoid excessive force on the ribbon cable and confirm correct seating before closing the case. After installation, verify regional keyboard layout settings in the OS to ensure proper character mapping.
