Lindy 5m Cat.5e U/UTP sieťový kábel, sivý

Network Cable Lindy 5m RJ-45 Cat5e Grey is a 5-metre U/UTP Cat.5e patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for data transmission at frequencies up to 100 MHz and compatible with Ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T. The cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and is supplied individually in a protective polybag. Gold-plated contacts and a grey PVC jacket complete the build.

Advantages

The Cat.5e U/UTP construction provides required electrophysical performance (NExT, FExT etc.) for reliable Gigabit Ethernet operation without shielding. Gold-plated contacts reduce the risk of corrosion and ensure stable electrical contact over time. The connector features a snagless strain-relief design that protects the latch during installation and removal, while the PVC jacket offers mechanical protection for everyday use.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home and small office networks
• Structured cabling supporting 10/100/1000Base-T(X) devices
• Patch panels and wall outlets within a local area network

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat.5e U/UTP
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Bandwidth / frequency: up to 100 MHz
• Supports: up to 1GBase-T (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Standard: manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: PVC, colour grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices (switch, router, PC or wall outlet) until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; the snagless strain relief reduces the chance of latch damage during handling. For best performance, keep the cable separate from strong sources of electromagnetic interference and follow standard installation practices for patch cabling.

Recommendations

Use this Lindy Cat.5e cable for short to medium length Ethernet connections (up to 5 m) in home or office networks. For runs requiring shielding, higher bandwidths, or distances beyond typical patch lengths, consider Cat6/6a or shielded alternatives.
