The Inter-Tech 88887280 is a 1U cable management accessory designed to organize and secure cables in server racks and network cabinets. With a width of 44 mm, depth of 482 mm and height of 15 mm, this cable guide plate fits standard 19-inch rack layouts and provides a compact solution for routing cables. Finished in RAL 9005 black and weighing 280 g per piece, the product is supplied in packs of 50 pieces for projects that require multiple mounting points. An integrated brush strip protects cables from sharp edges while allowing cables to pass through cleanly.

Advantages

This cable management plate streamlines cable routing within racks, helping to maintain airflow and reduce cable strain and entanglement. The brush insert prevents abrasion and secures cables without the need for additional ties. Its screwless mounting design simplifies installation and removal, and the slim 1U profile preserves valuable rack space while providing effective cable guidance.

Suitable for

• Organizing power and network cables in server racks and network cabinets
• Data centre installations and telecom closets requiring multiple cable entry points
• Rack-mounted equipment setups where 1U space must be used for cable routing
• Environments that need abrasion protection for cable bundles

How to use

Position the 1U cable guide plate at the desired horizontal rack unit, ensuring alignment with the rack rails. Engage the screwless mounting points to secure the plate to the rack; confirm that the plate is firmly seated before routing cables. Pass cables through the brush strip to protect insulation from contact with the metal edges and to maintain separation between different cable types. For dense cable volumes, route cables evenly across the plate to avoid concentrated bends and to preserve airflow inside the rack.

Recommendations

For best results, combine these cable guide plates with vertical and horizontal management accessories to create defined cable paths. Avoid forcing oversized bundles through the brush aperture; instead, split large bundles or use multiple plates to distribute cable entries. Regularly inspect the brush strip for wear in high-traffic installations and replace the plate if the protective function is compromised.
