Mesh router TP-Link AX1800 dualband WLAN Wi-Fi 6

AX1800 Whole Home Mesh WiFi System provides dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 connectivity to deliver up to 1.8 Gbps combined throughput for smooth 8K/4K streaming, gaming and many simultaneous smart devices. The system uses EasyMesh-enabled nodes with beamforming and high‑performance antennas to extend coverage across the home and supports wired Ethernet backhaul for more stable links. Each unit can operate as a router or an access point and includes three Gigabit Ethernet ports. Setup and management are available via the Aginet app or a web interface; the system also supports TR‑069 remote management for ISPs.

Advantages

Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) technologies such as OFDMA and MU‑MIMO improve overall network efficiency and enable connection of 250+ devices with reduced congestion. EasyMesh support and beamforming focus signal strength toward devices for wider and more reliable coverage. A flexible 2‑in‑1 design lets each unit work as a router or access point, while three Gigabit Ethernet ports and optional Ethernet backhaul provide stable wired performance. The Aginet solution and TR‑069/TR‑181/TR‑111/TR‑143 support enable remote provisioning and maintenance for service providers.

Suitable for

• Homes requiring whole‑home Wi‑Fi coverage
• Multi‑device households with streaming, gaming and smart‑home equipment
• Homes that need optional wired Ethernet backhaul for stability
• ISPs and installers requiring remote management and provisioning

How to use

Position one unit near your modem and place additional nodes around the home to eliminate dead zones, keeping reasonable distance between units for optimal mesh coverage. Choose router or access point mode according to your network setup. Use Ethernet cables to connect via Gigabit LAN ports when using wired backhaul. Complete initial setup and network configuration through the Aginet mobile app or the web interface, following the on‑screen instructions to create a single SSID for seamless roaming.

Recommendations

For best performance, place mesh units in open areas away from large metal objects and interference sources, enable Ethernet backhaul where possible for high‑bandwidth activities, and keep firmware updated via the Aginet platform or ISP‑provisioned remote management.
