Microconnect KONCAT6A68 Prepájací adaptér RJ-45 čierny

The Microconnect KONCAT6A68 RJ-45 cable gender changer in black is designed for outdoor and dust-prone environments. With an IP68 rating it offers protection against dust ingress and temporary submersion, and its construction provides a permanently protected side plus a second side with a quick-release screw cap that can be opened to attach a patch cable when needed.

Advantages

The adapter supports secure RJ-45 connections while maintaining IP68 protection when closed, enabling occasional or temporary cable attachment without exposing the fixed side. Its compact form factor and robust housing make it suitable for outdoor installations and locations where one side remains permanently connected and the other is connected only sporadically.

Suitable for

• Outdoor Ethernet connections requiring dust and temporary water resistance
• Installations with a permanent network endpoint on one side and occasional patching on the other
• Temporary field network extensions and maintenance tasks

Recommendations

Use appropriate strain relief and cable routing to avoid mechanical stress on the coupler. Periodically inspect the screw cap and seals for wear, and ensure the cap is tightened before exposure to moisture or immersion.
