How to use

For tool-free installation, insert the supplied rubber plugs into the fan’s mounting holes, position the grill and press the plastic push-pins through until secured. To benefit from reduced inlet turbulence and improved acoustics, use the push-pins to mount the grill with the 5 mm offset; if there is insufficient clearance, the push-pins can be shortened with a cutter or scissors. Alternatively, use the included black-coated screws to fasten the grill directly for a more rigid attachment or when offset mounting is not possible.

Recommendations

If you prioritise the quietest possible operation, mount the grills using the push-pins to achieve the 5 mm offset. Ensure the push-pins are fully engaged and check clearance before finalising installation; trim the pins only if necessary and avoid damaging the fan housing.
