How to use

Mount the SKMW20F-12 into the PCB using the specified through-hole footprint and solder all pins according to the manufacturer’s board layout. Connect an input supply within 9–36 V DC to the input pins, and take the regulated 12 V DC output from the output pins. Use the remote ON/OFF pin to enable or disable the output remotely according to the device wiring instructions. Observe proper input polarity and provide adequate board-level decoupling and grounding as recommended in typical application circuits.

Recommendations

Use this module on PCBs with adequate copper area for heat dissipation, follow MEAN WELL application notes for input filtering and layout, and ensure the input source can supply peak startup currents. Do not exceed the 1.67 A output rating and verify thermal conditions in enclosureed or high-ambient-temperature environments.
