Nastaviteľné kliešte na vodovodné potrubie Knipex Cobra ES 87 51 250 — rozsah 250 mm

Knipex Cobra ES 87 51 250 adjustable water pump pliers provide a versatile gripping tool with a maximum jaw capacity of 250 mm. The pliers are engineered for gripping, holding and turning pipes, fittings and irregular shapes. A quick-adjustment mechanism allows fast, secure and repeatable setting of the jaw width while an integrated slip-in prevention maintains a reliable grip during use. The tool is intended for plumbing, HVAC and general maintenance tasks requiring high clamping force and fine adjustment.

Advantages

The Cobra ES design combines a wide jaw capacity with a quick-adjustment mechanism that enables simple one-handed size changes. Hardened teeth and precise jaw geometry deliver stable gripping on round, hexagonal or irregular surfaces without damage. The slip-in prevention reduces the risk of sudden slippage when applying torque, and the handle ergonomics allow controlled force transfer for extended use. Corrosion-resistant finish increases durability in workshop and field environments.

Suitable for

• Gripping and turning metal and plastic pipes in plumbing work
• Holding fittings, valves and connectors during installation or removal
• HVAC maintenance and tightening or loosening hose connections
• General maintenance tasks requiring adjustable gripping on irregular shapes

Key specifications

• Maximum jaw capacity: 250 mm
• Tool type: adjustable water pump pliers
• Adjustment: quick-adjustment mechanism for repeatable settings
• Grip features: hardened gripping teeth and slip-in prevention
• Handle: ergonomically shaped for controlled torque application
• Finish: corrosion-resistant surface treatment

How to use

Select the appropriate jaw width by operating the quick-adjustment mechanism and position the pliers so the workpiece engages the hardened teeth. Apply steady pressure through the handles to achieve a secure grip; the slip-in prevention will help maintain contact while turning or holding the part. For larger diameters, ensure the pliers are set to an opening that fully encloses the pipe or fitting to avoid concentrated pressure points. Release the adjustment and remove the tool after the operation is complete.

Recommendations

For best results, inspect the gripping surfaces for wear before use and avoid applying excessive impact loads. Use the pliers for their intended purpose—adjustable gripping and turning—and combine with appropriate PPE when working on pressurized systems or hot pipes. Regular cleaning and light lubrication of the adjustment mechanism will maintain smooth operation.
