Nástenná tienená sieťová zásuvka GEMBIRD 1×RJ45 kategória 6A FTP

GEMBIRD wall-mounted shielded network socket with a single RJ45 port, engineered for Category 6A FTP cabling to support high-speed Ethernet connections up to 10 Gbps in appropriate installations. The socket is intended for surface mounting and provides a fixed, grounded outlet that helps reduce electromagnetic interference through foil screening. It is suitable for office, residential, and industrial environments where a shielded network termination is required for improved signal integrity and reliable data transmission.

Advantages

The shielded Category 6A FTP design provides enhanced protection against external electromagnetic interference, improving link stability in electrically noisy environments. A single RJ45 port allows a compact, unobtrusive wall outlet while maintaining compatibility with standard Ethernet connectors. Surface-mount construction simplifies installation where in-wall wiring is impractical or not desired. The product is designed for grounded shield termination to preserve the effectiveness of FTP cabling when properly installed.

How to use

For correct operation, install the socket on a clean, flat surface using the included fixing points and screws. Prepare the Category 6A FTP cable by stripping the outer jacket and exposing the foil shield according to the cable termination guidelines. Terminate the individual conductors and the foil shield onto the socket's designated contacts and shield clamp, ensuring correct pair order and secure mechanical connections. Connect the socket's shield connection to the building grounding system to maintain shielding effectiveness. After termination, test the link with suitable cable certification or network testers to verify continuity, pair mapping, and performance.

Recommendations

Use this shielded wall socket with properly rated Category 6A FTP cable and maintain a continuous shield-to-ground connection. Avoid kinking or excessively bending the cable near the termination point, and follow industry-standard wiring schemes (T568A or T568B) consistently across the installation. Verify performance with a cable tester after installation and ensure the grounding path is intact to benefit from the FTP shielding.
