Nástroj na sekeru Gardena 2800S

The Gardena 2800S axe is designed for splitting larger logs with improved efficiency. It combines an optimized axe head geometry and a fiber-reinforced PA shaft to concentrate force into the cut, giving easier splits. The head has a non-stick coating for reduced friction and smoother entry into wood, and a stainless steel shaft protection increases durability and protects the handle. The balance point is close to the head for even weight distribution, and an integrated hammer function allows effective use of splitting wedges.

Advantages

Non-stick coated head reduces friction and eases penetration into wood. Head geometry and a light, balanced shaft focus power into the cut for more effective splitting of large logs. Fiber-reinforced PA shaft and stainless steel shaft protection increase robustness and service life. Hammer function supports use with splitting wedges. Manufacturer provides a 10-year warranty.

Suitable for

• Splitting large firewood logs
• General outdoor and garden wood processing
• Using with splitting wedges for very dense wood

How to use

Hold the Gardena 2800S with a firm two-handed grip and position the log on a stable chopping block. Swing the axe so that the head contacts the wood squarely; the non-stick coating and the head geometry will help the blade enter and split the log. For very large or dense logs, place a splitting wedge at the target line and use the axe’s hammer function to drive the wedge while keeping control of each strike. Inspect the shaft protection and head before use and maintain a clear work area.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye protection, sturdy footwear) and ensure a safe stance. Store the axe dry and check for damage or looseness before each use. Do not use steel wedges with the hammer function; use appropriate splitting wedges as intended.
