For best everyday performance, use balanced or performance power profiles while connected to mains power, and lower display brightness and disable unused wireless adapters to extend battery life during mobile use. Keep vents clear and perform occasional software maintenance—such as disk cleanup and driver updates—to preserve system responsiveness over time.
