Connect the trimmer to a suitable mains supply following the manufacturer's instructions and hold the tool with both hands while trimming. Move the cutting bar steadily along the hedge, avoiding forcing branches thicker than 16 mm through the blades. After use, switch off and disconnect from the mains, clean debris from the cutting bar, and fit the protective cover for storage.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye protection, long sleeves). Do not attempt to cut branches larger than 16 mm in diameter. Keep the power cable clear of the cutting area and inspect the tool and cable for damage before each use.
