Opravná sada pre ohraničovací drôt Bosch F016800553

The Bosch boundary wire repair kit F016800553 is designed to restore and protect perimeter wiring used with robotic lawn mowers. The kit contains components for creating reliable splices and insulated joints so signal continuity is maintained along the boundary wire. It is intended for on-site repair of damaged sections, preventing corrosion and short circuits while extending the service life of the existing boundary installation.

Advantages

The kit provides ready-to-use connectors and insulation materials that simplify joint formation and reduce the need to replace long wire runs. Components are sized for typical perimeter wires used with garden robots and are intended to deliver a durable electrical connection resistant to moisture and soil contact. Using the repair kit helps maintain the integrity of the boundary signal and reduces downtime for the mower.

Suitable for

• Repairing cuts, nicks or corroded sections of robotic lawn mower boundary wire
• On-site splicing when extending existing perimeter wiring
• Preventing short circuits and signal loss in garden boundary installations

Key specifications

• Purpose: repair and insulate perimeter/boundary wire for robotic mowers
• Connection type: splice connectors suitable for solid or stranded low-voltage wire
• Insulation: moisture-resistant sealing to prevent corrosion and shorting
• Durability: designed for outdoor use and soil contact
• Compatibility: intended for common boundary wire gauges used with garden robot systems

How to use

Identify the damaged section of the boundary wire and isolate the mower or control unit before beginning work. Cut out the faulty segment if necessary, strip the insulation from the conductor ends according to the connector instructions, insert conductors into the splice connectors and crimp or secure them per the supplied method. Apply the insulation and sealing components from the kit to fully enclose the joint and ensure a watertight finish. After the repair, test the boundary circuit and mower response to confirm continuity and correct operation.

Recommendations

Use the kit for localized repairs rather than full replacement of boundary wiring. Follow the connector and sealing instructions exactly, and verify wire gauge compatibility before splicing. If multiple or extensive damages are present, consider replacing longer sections of wire to ensure consistent signal quality.
