Optický PLC rozbočovač 1:2 SC/APC slotový typ, Extralink, čierny ABS

Extralink Optical PLC Splitter 1:2 SC/APC Slot Type in a black ABS housing is a compact passive device for splitting a single optical signal into two outputs. Designed for fiber networks such as FTTH and PON, the unit provides symmetrical 1:2 power distribution in SC/APC connector format and is supplied with both input and output adapters. The slot-type (pocket) enclosure is made of ABS and allows the splitter to be installed quickly in distribution boxes or external switches while reducing the risk of fiber damage.

Advantages

The slot-type design and ABS housing offer a compact, lightweight solution that fits into fiber distribution panels and enclosures. SC/APC connectors ensure low back-reflection suitable for passive optical networks. Symmetrical 1:2 splitting provides equal optical power distribution to both outputs. Clip-mounted installation secures the module in place and helps prevent accidental displacement.

Suitable for

• FTTH subscriber distribution
• PON networks requiring passive splitting
• Fiber distribution panels and small enclosures
• Point-to-multipoint fiber deployments with SC/APC connections

Key specifications

• Splitting ratio: 1:2 (symmetrical power distribution)
• Connector type: SC/APC input and outputs
• Enclosure material: black ABS, slot/pocket type
• Mounting: clip-mounted for quick installation in panels or boxes

How to use

Install the splitter by inserting the module into the designated slot or pocket in the distribution box or panel and secure it with the built-in clips. Connect the incoming fiber to the SC/APC input adapter and attach the destination fibers to the two SC/APC output adapters. Ensure fiber ends and connectors are clean and properly aligned before making connections to maintain signal quality. The splitter is passive and requires no power source or configuration.

Recommendations

Perform connector cleaning and visual inspection prior to installation, secure fibers to avoid strain on the ports, and mount the slot-type splitter in a compatible enclosure to protect it from environmental exposure. Use SC/APC-compatible patch cords and adhere to standard fiber handling practices to maintain optimal performance.
