Key specifications

How to use

Insert the CFexpress Type A card into the card slot of a compatible camera or card reader following the device manufacturer’s orientation and handling instructions. Format the card in the camera before first use to ensure file system compatibility and optimal performance. During recording, monitor available capacity and card status indicators on your camera; stop and finalize recordings before removing the card. For offload, use a compatible CFexpress Type A card reader connected to a computer via a supported interface for maximum transfer speeds.

Recommendations

Maintain at least one spare card during shoots to avoid interruptions, regularly back up footage to separate storage, and perform periodic formatting in-camera after transferring files. Store the card in a static-safe, dry environment and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures, moisture, or strong magnetic fields. Use manufacturer-recommended readers and firmware updates for best compatibility and sustained performance.
