How to use

Connect the FR50 to a host system via the USB cable and position the scanner on the counter or mount it using the integrated magnetic socket. Present barcodes in front of the scanner window so the aiming LED can indicate proper alignment; the device will trigger automatically using the light and IR sensors. The AEC adjusts illumination for codes on reflective or low-contrast surfaces, so scanning phone screens and printed labels requires no special settings.

Recommendations

Place the scanner where the aiming LED is clearly visible to customers and staff; avoid strong direct sunlight on the scan window. For cleaning, detach the unit from its magnetic mount if needed and follow the manufacturer’s approved cleaning solutions to preserve optics and housing.
