Philips Hue White and Colour Ambience smart LED strip light, 1990 mm long and 11 mm wide, delivers adjustable multicolour illumination for interior accent, mood and task lighting. The strip uses ZigBee wireless connectivity to integrate with Philips Hue bridges and compatible smart home systems, enabling control from Android and iOS devices. With an energy consumption of 19 kWh per 1000 hours and a design suited for mounting under cabinets, behind TVs or along coves, the product provides flexible placement and broad colour range for customised lighting scenes.

Advantages

This LED strip supports a wide spectrum of white and coloured light, allowing precise colour selection and tunable white temperatures. ZigBee compatibility ensures reliable connection to Hue ecosystems and many third-party smart home platforms. The compact 11 mm width permits installation in narrow channels or decorative profiles, while the 1990 mm length covers medium runs without seams. Its low energy use relative to conventional lighting yields efficient continuous operation for ambient and accent purposes.

• Task lighting for workbenches and reading nooks

Key specifications

• Length: 1990 mm
• Width: 11 mm
• Light type: White and colour ambience (tunable white and RGB colours)
• Connectivity: ZigBee wireless protocol
• Control: Compatible with Android and iOS devices via Hue bridge or compatible hub
• Energy consumption: 19 kWh per 1000 hours

How to use

Prepare the mounting surface by cleaning it of dust and grease. Measure and cut the strip only at marked cut points if a shorter length is required, and follow the manufacturer’s guidelines when connecting segments or using connectors. Attach the strip using the integrated adhesive backing or place it into a compatible aluminium profile for heat dissipation and a finished look. Connect the strip to a compatible Philips Hue power supply and hub, then add it to your Hue app on an Android or iOS device to configure brightness, colour and automated scenes.

Recommendations

For reliable operation and full feature access, use with a Philips Hue bridge or a certified ZigBee hub. Avoid bending the strip sharply and do not mount it on surfaces that exceed recommended operating temperatures. Use an aluminium profile or heatsink for long continuous runs to improve thermal performance and extend lifetime.
