Amazonas Tarp Sock AZ-3080025 is a lightweight waterproof tarp cover designed to protect a hammock or serve as a simple shelter. Made for easy transport and quick deployment, the tarp repels rain and reduces exposure to wind while keeping the protected area dry. Its compact shape and low weight make it suitable for multi-day trips where minimizing pack size matters.

Advantages

The tarp cover combines waterproof fabric with reinforced seams to provide reliable weather protection without adding significant bulk. Its lightweight construction and compact packed size simplify carrying and storage. The design allows fast attachment to trees or support points, and the material dries quickly after use, supporting frequent outdoor activities.

Suitable for

• Hammock protection during camping and backpacking
• Quick rain shelter on trekking routes
• Wind and drizzle protection for outdoor resting spots
• Lightweight emergency cover for day hikes

Key specifications

• Function: lightweight waterproof tarp for hammock or shelter
• Material properties: water-repellent fabric with sealed seams
• Portability: compact packed size and low weight suitable for backpacking
• Setup: designed for fast attachment to trees or anchor points
• Use environment: outdoor, camping, trekking, and day hikes

How to use

Unpack the tarp and identify the reinforced attachment points. Position the tarp over the hammock or between two anchors to form a sloped surface that sheds water away from the sheltered area. Secure the corners and tie points to trees or support lines at appropriate tension to prevent water pooling. Adjust height and angle according to expected wind direction and rainfall intensity. After use, shake off loose debris, allow the tarp to dry if wet, then fold or roll it back into its storage bag for transport.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, orient the tarp so water runs off the lowest edge and avoid creating horizontal sections where water can collect. Check connection points regularly and retension lines if fabric stretches. Store the tarp dry to prevent mildew, and inspect seams periodically for wear.
