M2.5x0.45 machine tap is built from high-speed steel with cobalt (HSS-Co) and steam tempered for a hard, lubricant-retaining surface. It cuts metric coarse threads to ISO 2 (6H) tolerance in unalloyed and alloyed steels up to 800 N/mm², stainless steels, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals.
