How to use

Select the appropriate knife for each task: use the paring knife for peeling and small detail work, the utility knife for everyday cutting, the chef's knife for chopping and dicing, and the slicing/carving knife for thin, even slices. Use the multi-purpose shears for trimming herbs, opening packaging or cutting small joints. Maintain the edge by briefly running the blade along the included sharpening steel at a consistent angle before or after use; perform full sharpening with a whetstone or professional service when necessary. Store knives upright in the bamboo block to protect the blade edges and reduce the risk of accidental contact.

Recommendations

Handwash the blades and handles with warm water and mild detergent and dry immediately to preserve the finish and prevent corrosion. Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as glass or stone; use a wooden or plastic cutting board. Regularly use the included sharpening steel to maintain cutting performance, and secure the block on a stable, dry surface away from heat sources.
