Elektro skriňa Satel OPU-4 P

OPU-4 P is a surface-mounted electrical enclosure made of white ABS plastic. Its aesthetic, neutral design and ample internal space allow installation in visible interior locations and accommodate a range of SATEL control panels, extension modules, communication modules, controllers and other devices. The base can be recessed into the wall to reduce the enclosure’s external depth. The enclosure features double tamper protection against opening and against being torn off the wall. It provides space for 40 VA or 60 VA mains transformers and can house a 12 V, 7 Ah backup battery. Wireless devices and their antennas can be installed inside because the ABS material does not block radio signals.

Advantages

The OPU-4 P is made of durable ABS plastic and combines a neutral appearance with sufficient internal volume for a variety of electronics. It supports recessed-base mounting to save external space, offers double tamper protection for increased physical security, and has dedicated space for standard transformers and a 12 V backup battery. The enclosure’s material allows placement of wireless devices and antennas without signal attenuation.

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a flat interior surface or recess the base into the wall to reduce outward projection. Install required control panels, modules, transformers and battery inside the enclosure following the manufacturers’ installation instructions and local electrical regulations. Connect wiring through the provided openings or knockouts, secure devices to the enclosure back plate or mounting points, and verify tamper switches are correctly positioned for opening and wall-removal detection. After installation, check that any wireless devices placed inside maintain required signal strength.

Recommendations

Use the OPU-4 P indoors in dry, ventilated locations. Ensure transformer and battery ratings match system requirements and that all electrical work is performed by qualified personnel. Avoid installing the enclosure in locations with excessive moisture or temperatures outside the equipment’s specified range.
