The Seagate One Touch HUB external hard drive provides 10TB of portable storage in a compact desktop-friendly enclosure. Equipped with both USB Type-A and USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) interfaces, the drive supports fast transfers to modern laptops, desktops and hubs. Its grey-and-black finish offers a conservative, unobtrusive look that fits office and home environments. The drive is designed for straightforward backup and large-file storage, with capacity suitable for photo and video libraries, large project archives and system backups.

Advantages

The drive combines high capacity with dual-interface convenience, allowing connection to a wide range of devices without adapters. USB 3.2 Gen 1 support delivers reliable transfer throughput for large files and bulk backups. The Seagate One Touch HUB design balances desktop presence and portability while offering a stable base for continuous use. With a 10TB capacity, the unit reduces the need for frequent file pruning or multiple drives when storing multimedia collections or long-term archives.

• Storing and archiving photo and video libraries

How to use

Connect the Seagate One Touch HUB to a computer using the included USB Type-C or Type-A cable depending on the host port. The drive is recognised by modern operating systems; follow on-screen prompts to initialise or accept preloaded backup software if present. For first-time backup, configure the supplied or preferred backup application to include folders and schedules you require. When transferring large files, ensure the host system remains powered and avoid disconnecting until file operations are complete to prevent data corruption.

Recommendations

Place the drive on a flat, stable surface with adequate ventilation and keep it away from direct heat sources. Use the faster USB Type-C connection where available for improved throughput, and perform regular backups rather than relying on a single copy. Maintain copies of critical data in an additional location or cloud service for redundancy.
