shiverpeaks RJ45/RJ45 Cat5e 50m sieťový kábel sivý F/UTP

The shiverpeaks RJ45/RJ45 Cat5e 50m networking cable Grey F/UTP is a 50-metre Ethernet cable designed for structured data connections between network devices. It uses Category 5e wiring to support typical Ethernet speeds and features F/UTP shielding — an overall foil screen that helps reduce electromagnetic interference from nearby cables and equipment. The grey outer jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for visible runs in homes and offices while the RJ45 termination on both ends enables straightforward plug-and-play connections to routers, switches, PCs and other network hardware.

Advantages

The cable’s F/UTP construction improves signal integrity in environments with moderate electrical noise by blocking external interference. Cat5e wiring supports stable transmission for common Ethernet applications and short‑to‑medium length links, while the 50 m length gives flexibility for placements where devices are separated by larger distances. The pre-terminated RJ45 connectors eliminate the need for onsite crimping and ensure consistent physical connection quality across installations.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between routers, switches and computers
• Home and small office network installations
• Cable runs where moderate EMI protection is required
• Temporary or permanent structured cabling over a 50 m span

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Length: 50 metres
• Shielding type: F/UTP (overall foil shield, individually unshielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Outer sheath colour: Grey
• Use: Ethernet data transmission

How to use

Route the cable between devices avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. Insert the RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port until it clicks to secure the connection. For wall or rack installations, use appropriate cable management accessories to support and protect the cable along its run. Test the link with a network tester or by checking device connectivity to confirm correct wiring and performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable, keep it separated from high-voltage power lines, and use patch panels or keystone jacks when terminating in structured outlets. If higher bandwidth or future-proofing is required, consider upgrading to Cat6 or higher for new installations.
