Sieťový kábel EFB Elektronik Cat5e RJ-45 U/UTP 2m sivý

The EFB Elektronik Cat5e RJ-45 U/UTP 2m Grey is a 2-meter network cable designed for wired Ethernet connections. It features RJ-45 connectors on both ends and U/UTP construction (unshielded twisted pair with overall unshielded jacket), providing a reliable physical link for data transmission in home and office networks. The grey jacket offers a neutral, unobtrusive appearance that integrates easily into most environments.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable supports data transmission rates suitable for typical Ethernet applications and provides consistent signal quality for short to medium runs. The RJ-45 terminations deliver secure connector fit and straightforward plug-and-play installation. The 2 m length balances flexibility and minimal cable clutter, while the grey color helps the cable blend with standard office or residential setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, and network switches within the same room
• Linking routers to modems or access points for wired Internet access
• Wiring network-enabled devices such as smart TVs, printers, and game consoles
• Temporary or permanent Ethernet connections in small office and home environments

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e (suitable for Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet over typical distances)
• Cable construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs, overall unshielded)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 2 m
• Colour: Grey
• Typical use: Ethernet networking (LAN) for home and office

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device (computer, switch, router, or other network hardware) and insert the other connector into the corresponding port on the network endpoint. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Position the cable to avoid sharp bends and place away from strong electromagnetic sources when possible to maintain signal integrity. For best performance, use the cable within typical horizontal cabling distances and avoid excessive tension on the jacket or connectors.

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit performance, keep total cable run lengths within recommended limits for Cat5e and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and replace the cable if the jacket or termination is worn to prevent intermittent connectivity issues.
