Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75712-H-SET10 2 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75712-H-SET10 2m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable provides a compact connection solution for wired Ethernet networks. Constructed to Cat6 specifications, the cable supports gigabit-class data rates and features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Both ends are terminated with RJ-45 plugs plated in gold to ensure reliable contact and resistance to corrosion, and the cable is finished in a neutral grey jacket suitable for residential and professional environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with individually foil-wrapped pairs to deliver improved noise rejection compared with unshielded or partially shielded alternatives, helping maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. The Cat6 specification offers higher bandwidth and lower near-end crosstalk than older cable categories, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide stable electrical contact and enhanced durability for repeated insertions. The 2 m length balances reach and cable management for typical desk-to-wall or rack-to-device connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops, switches and routers in home and small office networks
• Wired connections for IP cameras, VoIP phones and network printers
• Temporary or permanent links between network panels and active equipment in office workspaces

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Outer jacket color: grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other connector into the corresponding port on your switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the locking tab clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; maintain gentle bend radii and secure with cable ties or clips as needed. For installations in shielded environments, confirm that connected equipment supports shielded cabling and that grounding is implemented according to local practices.

Recommendations

Use the cable for gigabit Ethernet connections and in environments where reduced interference improves performance. Avoid stretching the cable beyond its length, exposure to excessive heat, and repeated heavy mechanical stress. For runs longer than typical desktop lengths, consider certified bulk cable or higher-category cabling to meet distance and performance requirements.
