Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75715-H-SET10 5m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75715-H-SET10 5m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is designed to provide reliable wired connectivity for home and office networks. This 5‑metre Cat6 patch cable uses S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction and RJ‑45 connectors with gold plating to support high-speed data transmission and reduce interference. The grey outer jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations and cable routing in workstations, server racks, or entertainment setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding improves resistance to electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain consistent signal quality in environments with multiple electrical devices. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts enhance contact reliability and corrosion resistance for long-term use. The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidths and gigabit networking applications, while the 5 m length provides a balance between flexibility and neat cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops and network printers to a switch or router
• Wiring between network switches, patch panels and wall outlets within offices or server rooms
• Home entertainment systems, smart TVs and media players requiring stable wired connections
• Temporary setups for events or testing where a 5 m cable length is convenient

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 metres
• Outer jacket colour: grey
• Intended use: Ethernet networking, gigabit data transmission

How to use

Insert one RJ‑45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other into the port on the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. For installations in racks or along walls, use appropriate cable ties or clips to maintain tidy routing and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable in environments where reduced interference is required, and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines. When connecting high-bandwidth devices, verify that connected network equipment (switches, routers, NICs) supports gigabit or higher speeds to take full advantage of the cable's capabilities.
