Slnečná clona Canon ES-65B pre RF50mm F1.8 STM — okrúhla, čierna

Canon ES-65B is a round, black lens hood specifically shaped to fit the Canon RF50mm F1.8 STM lens. It mounts on the front of the lens to block stray light and reduce lens flare and ghosting, improving contrast and image clarity in bright, backlit, or mixed lighting situations. The hood is color-matched to the lens and offers a compact profile that preserves handling and balance while providing physical protection for the front element against accidental contact, splashes, and light environmental exposure.

Advantages

The ES-65B lens hood reduces unwanted light entering the lens, which helps maintain image contrast and reduces the risk of flare and ghosting during outdoor or strong-source lighting. Its round design and compact dimensions maintain a natural vignette profile suited to the optical characteristics of the RF50mm F1.8 STM. The hood provides a first line of physical protection for the front glass element from impacts and light weather, and its bayonet mounting ensures a secure, repeatable fit that is quick to attach and detach.

Suitable for

• Portrait and street photography with Canon RF50mm F1.8 STM
• Outdoor and backlit shooting situations
• Everyday handling and travel where front-element protection is needed

Key specifications

• Shape: Round
• Color: Black (color-matched to the lens)
• Mount type: Bayonet-style attachment for secure fit
• Compatibility: Designed to fit Canon RF50mm F1.8 STM lens
• Function: Reduces stray light, flare and ghosting; adds front-element protection

How to use

Align the bayonet tabs on the ES-65B with the corresponding slots on the front of the RF50mm F1.8 STM lens and rotate until it locks into place with an audible click. When attached, compose and shoot as usual; the hood will shade the front element from off-axis light sources while maintaining normal autofocus and exposure operation. To store or transport the lens, detach the hood by rotating it in the opposite direction until it releases. If available, mount the hood in the reverse position on the lens for more compact storage.

Recommendations

Use the hood whenever shooting in bright, backlit, or mixed lighting to reduce flare and preserve contrast; remove only when using wide-angle accessories that may vignette or when a smaller profile is required for tight storage.
