Softbox Amaran 60x90 pre štúdiovú fotografiu, obdĺžnikový 60×90 cm

The Amaran Softbox 60x90 is a rectangular diffuser designed for studio photography and video production. Measuring 60 × 90 cm, it delivers a wide, soft light field that reduces harsh shadows and lowers specular highlights, producing more even illumination for portraits, product shots and interview setups. The softbox is compatible with studio light heads that accept rectangular modifiers of this size and integrates with common mounting systems used in photo studios.

Advantages

The rectangular shape provides directional control with a broad, even spread of light suitable for full-body and half-body portraits, as well as tabletop setups. Its diffusion surface creates soft falloff and natural-looking skin tones while preserving sufficient contrast for modeling facial features. The construction is compact enough for studio use yet large enough to create pleasing catchlights in eyes and gentle shadow transitions on objects. Designed for straightforward attachment to compatible light heads, it supports consistent, repeatable lighting setups.

Suitable for

• Portrait photography (headshots, half-body and full-body)
• Product and tabletop photography
• Video interviews and on-camera lighting
• Small studio and controlled-location shoots

Key specifications

• Shape: Rectangular
• Dimensions: 60 × 90 cm
• Light quality: Diffused, soft light with reduced specular highlights
• Compatibility: Fits studio light heads that accept a 60×90 cm softbox
• Primary use: Studio and controlled-location photography and video

How to use

Mount the softbox onto a compatible studio light head following the lamp manufacturer’s mounting procedure. Position the softbox at the desired distance and angle relative to the subject to control shadow softness and light spread; closer placement yields softer light and wider coverage, while increased distance produces a narrower, harder field. Use grid or barn doors if additional directionality is required and balance exposure by adjusting light power or camera settings. Ensure the diffusion fabric is taut and free of wrinkles to maintain even illumination.

Recommendations

For portrait work, position the softbox slightly above eye level and angled down to create natural catchlights and flattering shadows. For product photography, place the softbox closer to the subject for softer highlights and smoother gradients. When shooting video interviews, combine the softbox with a fill or rim light to separate the subject from the background.
